Baking Cookies
Instructions & Helpful tips for baking our dough at home.
Crinkle Dough
Baking Instructions:
- Thaw dough in fridge for 24-48 hours in it's original packaging
- Allow dough to come close enough to room temperature that you can scoop it out into balls, but not so soft that it becomes unmanageable to work with
- Pre-Heat oven to 350
- Roll dough balls in Powdered Sugar or one of the options below
- We use a #60 cookie scoop which generally = approx. 20g per cookie
- Place cut cookies on your lined baking sheet
- Baking times will depend on the size of the cookies and your oven, however, an average cookie night take 9-12 minutes.
- When done, the cookies will have 'cracks' and won't be shiny
Helpful Notes & Options:
- If the dough becomes too soft, put it in the fridge or freezer for a few moments
- When baking, remember to keep the scoops on a sheet to approx. the same size so that they will cook evenly
- OPTIONAL COATING IDEAS: add to the powdered sugar cocoa to amp up the chocolate flavour or cinnamon for a hint of spice, maybe even some touch of instant coffee, or ground up peppermint candies for a kiss of mint
